“Stop Speech of Hate”
Address “Stop Speech of Hate” is used to report and remove expressions of hate speech from the space of Wroclaw: content and graphic elements that violate good manners and human dignity. It is addressed to the general residents, school communities and property managers responsible for the aesthetics of buildings.
On an anonymous address email@example.com you can send photos of stickers, posters, inscriptions, symbols that propagate hatred. The picture must contain a description of the exact location (in addition to the name and street number, it is good to describe the place – the back of the building, gate, bus stop, means of transport, etc.) Then we will make them disappear from the city space as soon as possible.
In order to effectively implement the project, a procedure was developed to report and remove offensive graphic elements, the tasks of which are also carried out by the Municipal Guard, the Wrocław Integration Center and the Police. Each entry is registered in the IT system and subjected to the procedure. Removal of hate speech is carried out directly by property managers and as part of the program of the Wrocław Center for Corrective Justice.
