In Wrocław, over every tenth inhabitant is of Ukrainian origin. That is why it is so important to develop friendly relations between Poland and Ukraine.
We subscribe to the words of the President of Wrocław Jacek Sutryk, who met with the Ukrainian Ambassador to Poland Andria Deshchytsia yesterday. The meeting concerned the Ukrainian minority in Wrocław and future joint projects.
Important words were also said by the Ambassador in an interview with Jan Piekło at the Pan Tadeusz Museum (director of the Poland-America-Ukraine Cooperation Initiative, in the years 2016–2019 the ambassador of the Republic of Poland in Ukraine):
“Even when relations between Poland and Ukraine at the state level were more difficult, at the local and social level, Polish-Ukrainian cooperation remained flawless. And this is much more important.”
