Another place for intercultural activities, workshops, artistic events, and exchange of experiences has been created on the map of Wrocław. FOROOM begins its activity in the Aleja Bielany shopping mall.
This place is intended for both Poles and migrants of all ages. Residents with migration experience will find here support in starting life in a new place. They will also find legal support here, e.g. on legalization of stay. The offer includes multicultural workshops, language courses, and other initiatives that engage culturally and professionally.
The plan includes, among others, reading books with the youngest, language classes for children, or educational activities for teachers. All activities are free and will be conducted by non-governmental organizations. The program and registration are available at: https://www.alejabielany.pl/pl-pl/foroom/.
The inspiration for establishing FOROOM was a study carried out with the research company IPSOS, which showed the direction in which the meeting center should develop.
The Wielokultury Team is pleased to support the FOROOM project substantively and by offering information support for migrants. Such a place is a positive example of social responsibility and business cooperation with the local government and non-governmental organizations that actively operate in the area of multiculturalism. The result of this cooperation will be many activities for the local community of Wrocław and Lower Silesia.
