Cyrkopole is a 3-day open-air festival held in Psie Pole to celebrate Wrocław Festival. The event is a culmination of all year’s work of the New Circus Centre operating in CBK FAMA together with Kejos Association.
Its primary aim is to present the wealth of artistic circus and theatrical techniques. The third edition is the review of the new-circus art practised in Central and Eastern Europe, it is characterised by the highest performance quality and engages in key social issues.
The program encompases street performances, stage shows, open circus stage and Circus Playground with a broad offer of animation and workshops for children and teenagers as well as masterclasses for professionals. Spectators will have a chance to watch the effects of creative labs’ work done throughout the last year in CBK FAMA as well as performances by resident artists prepared within the Open Training Space. A colourful circus parade led by Glinoludy (Clayfigures) from Bolesławiec with stilt-walkers, jugglers, acrobats, fire eaters and Wrocław’s residents will walk down Psie Pole streets. Jarosław Koziara’s illuminated scenography will help to set the mood.
