On August 24, Ukraine celebrates 28 years of independence. On this day, in 1991, the parliament adopted a declaration of independence. Over the years, the country formed as a parliamentary-presidential republic, which introduced the national currency and today takes an important place on the international stage.
A number of events are planned in Wroclaw for the Independence Day of Ukraine. The “Ukraina” Foundation invites you to the Park Poludniowy for a Multicultural Family Picnic. During the picnic there will be, among others an opportunity to spend time with family and friends in the open air, develop children’s artistic skills, and learn about the cultures of Wrocław residents from abroad, and many others. In the evening, the Wroclaw Circle of the Association of Ukrainians in Poland invites boulevard named after Rector of Stanisław Kulczyński. There will be an opportunity to hear and see Ukrainian culture live. The organizers have planned concerts, dance shows, and for the youngest – handicrafts workshops and other attractions. More: here
