22. Microgrants Edition – submit your projects

Submission of the project to the 22nd edition of Microgrants is possible until Friday (February 14). Until then, you can submit your ideas for interesting activities in Wrocław in the field of animation, social activation, recreation and education, and other culture-forming and bond-forming events. Importantly, every resident of Wrocław, regardless of nationality, religion or origin can submit his participation in the program.

The goal of the program coordinated by the Wrocław Culture Zone and the Umbrella Foundation is primarily to support grassroots local initiatives. Microgrants are to enable residents to gain experience and develop skills to cooperate with neighbors in the pursuit of building and developing a common urban space in a spirit of tolerance and creative discussion. The program primarily focuses on the activation of places further away from the city center.

Microgrants are also focused on numerous educational activities, among which are planned workshops and trainings for people starting the project path. For the beginners are planned classes at the Microgrant Academy, while for advanced leaders there are meetings and Microgrant Workshops. Training for representatives of NGOs and workshop meetings with young people will also be organized.

Proposed actions can be submitted in one of three ways:
for adult persons and informal groups,
for non-governmental organizations,
for informal youth groups.

The projects selected by a group of experts will receive financial support (from 1 to 10 thousand PLN gross depending on the type of submission), as well as assistance in administrative, organizational, legal, promotional and logistic matters. The results will be announced by March 13, and participants will be able to participate in the project from the end of March to August 31, 2020.

Before submitting your idea, you can consult the Microgrants team – by e-mail (, by phone (+48 71 712 75 72) or directly by visiting the organizers’ point between February 3 and 14 – Monday to Friday from 5pm: 00 to 19:00 in Barbara (ul. Świdnicka 8B).
